Originally, Le Thanh Hoa had created a different gown for Kỳ Duyên, but after trying on this one during a catwalk practice, the Miss Vietnam fell in love with it and decided to make the switch.

He added: "What I admire most about Kỳ Duyên is her hard work, perseverance, and strong determination to achieve what she wants."
