Mai Davikah proactively messaged and called designer Lê Thanh Hòa directly to express her admiration for his designs and her desire to wear them for an event.

The Feed x Khaosod Awards 2025 ceremony, held on the evening of September 13th in Bangkok, gathered top artists from Thailand and attracted significant attention from regional media.
On the red carpet, the person who made the strongest impression was actress Davika Hoorne (Mai Davika), a star known as “Thailand’s most beautiful ghost.” The actress appeared like a goddess in a handcrafted gown from designer Lê Thanh Hòa’s Golden Heritage collection.

The design, inspired by Champa art and culture, stood out with its exquisite beadwork, which created a dazzling visual effect under the stage lights. Mai Davika completed the look with bold, Thai-style makeup, featuring nude lipstick, strong brows, and long, curled lashes.
More memorably, the Lê Thanh Hòa gown was with Mai Davika as she accepted the award for The Best Female of the Year—one of the most significant accolades of the night. While many actresses tend to change multiple outfits throughout an awards ceremony, the Thai star remained loyal to her golden goddess image for the entire evening. The dress further added to her radiance as she held the trophy, a testament to her influence in the Thai art scene over the past years.

Designer Lê Thanh Hòa noted that Mai Davikah proactively messaged and called him directly to express her admiration for his designs and her desire to wear them for important events. In turn, the Vietnamese designer was more than willing to support the top Thai star. “I admire Davika, not just for her acting talent but also for her outstanding fashion sense,” he shared.
A leading Thai actress proactively choosing a Vietnamese design for a major event is a testament to the growing influence of Vietnamese fashion on the international stage.
